Happy New Year

Well, maybe it is an obvious answer, but then again maybe for some it is not. The truth is – MOST people are in a mindset that they are going to try one last time to make their lives a little bit – or even allot better. They know that there is power in joining a crowd to change. I mean gosh, when the world itself is starting over – it is a bit easier to join in. We know what is coming – winter , spring, summer and fall and we know what order they come in. SO, it makes a bit of sense that we think we might be able to do it a little better on another run though.

So, here we are, when millions of people looking for something better in our lives. looking to see if THIS is the year that they really get things done better this time. We human beings are quite an interesting race… there is a part of us that always believes that something better can happen – and THAT is the MAIN reason it does happen. Because we are LOOKING for some thing good. The nice thing about being around the New Year time is that most smart businesses KNOW we are looking for something better – and THAT is why we see so many offers to help us do better, feel better, be better. And sometimes, the New Year Special Offers are things that we have said that we wanted to do in the past but just never got around to it.

I know this to be true because to me as a Chiropractic Physician, the five most dangerous words are: “Maybe – It – Will – Go – Away!” I know that allot of people tend to put off the very things that they really should be doing. I have an increasing number of people that are not waiting until they have pain in their neck or back before coming to see me. Why? – because people are understanding that if they have a history of back problems – it just makes more sense to get it checked before the “BIG FLAREUP”.” I am very similar to a dentist – a dentist can find a cavity - even if it is not hurting. And any good dentist will tell you that the time to get a cavity fixed is NOT when you are having excruciating pain. Better to do it before it gets to the nerve.

So – many businesses are putting out offers of things that they KNOW people have said that they want in their life – ans a special offer might just be the sort of incentive that might bring someone in that would not use the service at any other time.

So, I guess I have to “join the crowd” in that I have an “offer” that also fit the time of the year. Lots of people want to loose weight, get fit, be healthier, start exercising, stop hurting, and start living and being the best they can be. Many times, I help people do what they know they should do but will not do until they come to see me.

For my 2012 special offer…… Click here!!

Several years ago, when we had one of our family gatherings up in Payne Ohio with all of my brothers and sisters and Mom and Dad, we got out the old slide shows and showed every slide we could find. I decided to take pictures of these slide so I could remember them later. Although these pictures are not the very best quality, they certainly are great enough to jog my memory on all of the great things that happened to me in my childhood. We have since reproduced some of these slides with clear pictures.

I made a video with all these pictures I took of the slides…. and wow I was so glad that I took the time to take the pictures of the original slides. I think I will share this post with my brothers and sisters. Mom and dad, my oldest brother Larry, and my first cousin Norman are all with the Lord now, and these pictures mean more to me everyday. Just a thought, take a lot of pictures of your family, someday those pictures will make you smile again and again.

I have just become a fan of www. evernote.com. Evernote.com is in my opinion and absolutely essential software for people in business today. I have an android phone and I am using more and more of the Google applications. I really like the Chrome Browser too. This evernote software connects my smartphone to my desktop, so I have access to the information that I dictate to it where ever I am. Evernote talks about remembering everything, and I think I believe them. This system is going to save me so much time and effort in remembering meeting information, tax-preparation, ideas and projects to get done, and just an overall peace of mind knowing that I won’t forget anything. I love the integration with twitter and the ability to share and “Evernote Notebook” with people that have the link you create. It seems to me, that the ever note company is a terrific in combination with Google applications. This past year I have massively got into using more Gmail from Google. I love the flexibility of easily being able to get to it from my android phone and to forward and share information without any hassle. And now, the addition of Evernote to the mix is just so much better.

Here is an example of how you can share an “Evernote Notebook” with the world http://bit.ly/besocialchangetheworld

So here’s my advice, go look at www.evernote.com to see what it will do for you. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how much you will remember and how organized you will be.

My father…. the rest of the story

Sometimes once or if your lucky twice in a lifetime, you may have someone in your life that sees something in you that nobody else sees – and has the courage to tell you about it and to motivate you in that direction. I have had one such person and …. It was my father. My father passed away November 17, 2010.

Several years ago there was an eleven year old boy in swimming trunks in the back of a Scout International truck traveling to Devil’s Lake in Michigan. His Mom and Dad, older brother and his wife and his younger brother all heard a high pitched screech of tires as the car behind them tried to past on a hill. The car slammed into the left rear bumper of the Scout and proceeded to push it sideways up the hill and causing it to roll over three times coming to a rest upside down. There was immediate screaming of first names with hopes of answers. The mom did not answer. There was blood coming from the chest of the eleven year old as he realized that he could see the bottom half and legs of his Mom sticking through the broken side window from inside an upside down Scout. He also noticed a suitcase had wedged in the back which prevented crushing of his mother’s chest. The smell of gas was everywhere.

Ambulances came and took everyone to the hospital. Miraculously no one was killed. Everyone had cuts and scraps. The young boy’s mother was hurt the most from the head injury where her head smashed through the side window with gasoline pouring into her eyes and ears from the ruptured tank above. Headaches and severe vertigo continued for weeks until a friend suggested that she see her chiropractor. The chiropractic doctor found vertebral subluxations - spinal dysfunctions in her cervical spine. The whole family started under chiropractic care and got tremendous results. That lady was my Mom, and I was that eleven year old. I personally witnessed and was amazed at an incredible return to normal health of my Mother.

After my father saw what chiropractic care did for our family in that accident — from that point on, my father would frequently look into my eyes with a quick grin, flip a pointed right index finger at me and say – “You sure would make a great chiropractor”. I am certain he said it hundreds of times with that same look and pointed finger while I was growing up.

I was raised on a farm in Northern Ohio and was out of doors most of my younger years. One of my favorite places to be outside was at the bridge close to the ditch that ran by our house. We just called it “The Bridge”.

I chiseled my name in “The Bridge” the summer of 1965 after we were in that terrible car accident.

I remember spending a lot of time at that bridge in the country thinking about the future and what life could possibly be like as a chiropractor. After lots of years of sitting at that bridge, talking to God, and planning my future… I decided that I would become the best chiropractor that I could - and do what my father told me I could do.

When my oldest son Kyle was eleven years old, he and I carved his name in the bridge beside mine. I told him the story about me when I was eleven and how a terrible accident and a wise father set in motion the events that lead me to become a chiropractic physician. “The Bridge” has long since been torn down but my eyes are actually tearing up just thinking about the fact that this is the spot that I decided to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.

What does Chiropractic mean to me? It caused an eleven year old boy in an accident to eventually commit to a profession that changed the life of his mother because a father spoke some wisdom to a son. Chiropractic is important enough to pass on to future generations. It is to me the profession that makes the most sense in all of health care today.

I believe that I was fortunate early on to know what I would do when I chose my life’s work only because of my father. I also believe that good things can always happen from tough times and tragedies …if – we look for the answers. Chiropractic is a profession of answers. It seems to me that as more research is completed, it continues to prove that chiropractic care can be the answer for so many conditions that Chiropractic Physicians see helped everyday.

This is a very satisfying time for me in practice to see the great acceptance of chiropractic. I do not see a decrease in people’s want for the natural health care that chiropractic provides. We, as chiropractors, just have to continue to understand the trends of the way people can receive care from our offices. Chiropractic is importance enough for me to learn new avenues that can promote the continued increased utilization of chiropractic care. I am willing to do whatever it takes within the ethical and moral framework I have chosen to live my life to tell the truth about chiropractic care.

Chiropractic is a profession that naturally right just like Dr. Jim Parker has always said. I believe that is the first level of health care that should be considered for a great deal of what people go to the medical profession for. However, chiropractic is so radically right that is has taken time for people to see the common sense in it.

Chiropractic allows me to perform a specialized unique service that has the potential to totally change someone’s life for the better, for the rest of their life - with no side effects. Also, it does not require 10 million dollars a day in marketing to get people to use our service. What it requires is me being willing to tell people the truth in large crowds, or one on one, or through the “Great Equalizer – The Internet” – but that is another soon to be told story.

Chiropractic means that I have a service that is so good that people are willing to come to my office and be seen at a schedule that is convenient for both the patient and for me. Since, my fathers passing, I have had a close friend tell me that they had a “Word” for me…. Of course, I was all ears. They said …. Now it is time for you to BE Your Father’s Legacy. Wow – that hit me hard. So it is time for me to … really grow up. To fulfill all the dreams my father had for me when he told me “You sure would make a great chiropractor”. So I figure it this way, If I have to grow up then I think that my profession should also have to grow up into the totally amazing, life changing profession, that it was destined to be. I have decided that I am into Legacy Building for my profession for the rest of my practice career and I am looking for some strong Lovers of Chiropractic and colleagues to join me. Want to?

Yes. I love Chiropractic… and - I owe it all to My Father!!!

My Father was a World War II hero, a farmer, a photographer,(Owned the Photo Farm) a small appliance repairman, (Owned Gene’s Repair Service) an entrepreneur, a Sunday school teacher, a plumber, a lay pastor, a mighty man of God, and many, many other things in his life to many other people.

Just thought I would “keep you all in the loop” as some have suggested….. Your good thoughts and prayers are all I would ask of any that may read this.

Slouched shoulders are sometimes a bad habit for many people who have office jobs, or work at a computer or on the telephone. If you have a tendency to round your upper back, exercises that retract the shoulder blades and stretch the chest and front of the shoulder will help.

When standing for long periods of time, check that your abdominal muscles are pulled in and your hips are slightly tucked under with your knees relaxes. Wearing high heels can encourage a sway back which can result in back pain and fatigue. And finally, check your posture whenever you pass by a mirror or a reflective window – It’s a good reminder to keep your back straight throughout the day.

Rules To Live By

1. Avoid bending from your waist only; bend at the knee and hips.

2. Avoid lifting heavy objects higher than your waist.

3. Always turn and face the object you wish to lift.

4. Avoid carrying unbalanced loads

7. Avoid sudden movements. Learn to move more deliberately, smoothly and gracefully.

1. A picture/video of you, the owner, with your credentials. With the advent of Web 2.0 the minimum you should have on your business website is a welcome video – no more than 2 minutes and a link to pictures of your business facility or pictures of people providing the service you render. You should not be concerned with the ultimate professional setting for your video. What I mean is, a portable video camera of you walking through your facility while providing a short tour or mini tour of some of your workplace, provides the viewer with an inside look that they do not have of any similar business they may find on the web. With today’s technology, you really do not need an entire camera crew with major special lights and media experts to produce a high quality video. I use a flip mino video recorder, or a Logitech Orbit Webcam for most of my videos. Be natural and conversational in your tone in front of the camera.

A stiff talking head is not nearly as interesting as someone sitting on the side of their desk and walking around their office while explaining what the visitor would experience by being associated with your company. You might even consider a link about why you came to providing the service that you do in your business. People want to know your “Why”.

2. Your physical business location should be easily discoverable on your website. A map associated with a mapping service so that people can use it to print out directions. You could also have directions ready to print out that would get a person to your location from several different starting points. Use Google maps to highlight your business. You should absolutely take the time to to fill in the information that Google maps has for you to identify your business. You would be foolish not to take advantage of this FREE location service associated with Google maps. Make sure you put in the driving time to get to your location as time, not miles, on your direction page as time is the significant factor in people deciding to visit your business location. Make sure you include easily recognizable landmarks in your description to make make a “no hassles” trip to your location. Consider a link that has directions to your business with a “first visit” savings coupon on the bottom of the directions. For some reason, “savings” is a preferred term over “discount” for me but you may have to do your own research as the meaning of words change as the economy changes. Make sure that you have taken the time to fill out your completely free Google Place Page. This a an amazing service that is vital to being found on the web.

3. Make sure there is compelling “sales copy” on your home page or landing page to draw in your visitors to other interesting educational links on your websites. A few lessons in producing great sales copy on your website will pay large dividends to your business. If their is nothing to keep them on your site for more than a few seconds, all the work that you did to get them to your site is lost to the, difficult to detect, black hole of “no sale”. There is an awesome copywriter by the name of Clayton Makepeace – you should become familiar with his website – a wonderful sort of copywriting information. Just do a Goggle search on Clayton Makepeace and you will find his website.

4. It is imperative that you have a system to collect the e-mail of your visitors. Many visitors get to your site – just once, and determine if you are a viable source of the information they are looking for. If you have the proper attraction methods, you can turn that one visit into many by getting their e-mail. You will want to give your visitor the opportunity to opt into your periodic “Special Reports”. Please do not call your communication a “Newsletter”. The name just does not have the power and urgency that a “Special Report” has. Have you ever paid for access to a “newsletter”? The chances are you have not. But, I have made several payments for a “Special Report”. I suspect you have too. Am I suggesting that you make your e-mail communication a paid subscription? No. But, you may develop a paid product or subscription to present to your list during the course of your communication, after the awesome value of your communication becomes clear. My favorite source of e-mail communication is the aweber company. With this service, you can send e-mail when ever you want to your lists, or several lists, as there is no limit to the different lists you can create. This is a very important distinction in your search for an e-mail client. Also, I believe you MUST use an autoresponder system and I believe that aweber is one of the best at this. You can also coordinate an e-mail communication with a post from your blog with this system.

5. I know you have been hearing about how important it is to incorporate social media into your business these days. At the very least, you should have links to your Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, Google Plus, and YouTube accounts. There are, of course several others. Personally, I am in the process of organizing all of my Web 2.0 social media sites on one web page so that I can keep track of all of them. Do you have to do them all? Of course not. But, there are still massive numbers of people on all of these sites. Should you just be seen in one? Back in the day when phone books were the only way, I advertised in several of them. Why? because people had different reasons why they liked certain books. Today, the internet has social networks that can be targeted to within a few miles of your location. How silly is it to NOT make “friends” with those that are in your market area so that they are aware of your services.

Many people are just not sure how to approach promoting your business through these social networks. In essence, the concept is to first attend the “party” of the online social media experience. Next, meet some people that you like and that like you and invite them back to your “house” (your website or your blog). Then, they will notice the great things on your website and find out all the things that you do and the services you provide. After they are in the know about what business services your provide, they might want your services. Or, just as possible they might not want your services. However, they could refer someone else to your services, if you show them you are a nice “friend”.

The biggest mistake in the social media conversation is being like the person that stands up on a chair in the middle of a party and tells everyone to make sure they come to his dry cleaning store, ice cream shop, or whatever it is that he is selling. Yes, that is tacky and it is rude. It plays out the same what on the web. Become a friend first, then share what you do to the interested ones.

6. Your hours and services provided at your business should be clearly displayed on your website. Samples, if applicable, could be displayed on your site also. Introductory tours, consults, or reports can be offers to bring the visitor a little closer to receiving your product, service, or idea to ultimately bring profit to you though the transaction exchange. If you are a business that an emergency contact number is appropriate, make sure that you provide that number. And, a pet peeve of mine – if you are one of those businesses that have been convinced that some sort of a word / number combination is going to win you more customers, please, at least make sure that you put the complete phone number WITH the cool words you have chosen to help your customer remember you. Do not just put – 000-BUY-HERE. Why? – because I might have a phone that does not have the letter on the keys and my brain does not remember which number go with which letters. So for me, unless the numbers are there, I do not call that company! Wow, to do all that we do to get our visitors to call us, and be stopped because the number is not clear, would be a shame.

Several hyperlinks within your services explanation will provide additional information to your site visitor that make them feel like they have already visited your business before even getting to your physical location. Another sample of services you provide could be pictures of your finished work that you have done for your clients. Whether it is a picture, a restored vintage automobile, a set of cabinets you constructed, or a series of websites you have completed for your clients, Or pictures of satisfied patients – pictures are the best at showing your successes.

7. Testimonials of customers speaking about your services should be available on your website. Video testimonials, done correctly are very convincing, but I think that a combination of these types of testimonials are in order. The nice thing about putting testimonials on your website is that you can link to them from one of your “Special Reports” later on from your e-mail communication – hopefully with your autoresponder so they you can systematically connect them to all parts of your awesome website as they go through your autoresponder series.

Testimonials are best gathered through a system you have in place. As a chiropractic physician, I have a “Patient of the Week” system. All I have to do is say, “Hey ,you sure would make a great “Patient of the Week” to one of my patients and they say’ “Really, What is that?” I say, ” You fill out a short form and we take your picture and that is about it.” They usually say “Ok”. Next, I slip a laminated form into their file that says “Patient of the Week” on it and my staff does the rest. They take a picture, give them a form to fill out, type out what patient wrote on form, present typed form to patient for them to sign, and have them sign a release allowing us to use their testimonial.

For a video, I simple ask them if they would do a 1 to 2 minute video testimonial and the usual response is “Yes”. I have a web camera attached to my computer and I put them in front of it and ask them a few questions. At the end of the video, I say – “Do you care if I use this for anything?” They say “No”. I am free to put it on my website, YouTube, blog, make a DVD, or link it to a post on Twitter.

Ok, I lied. There are many more important things you should have on a business website. Yes there are many more than just seven. However, I did not want to spend forever listing them all in this article. It would be a book instead of an article. Hmm. – not a bad idea. I would be interested in what YOUR top 7 things a business website should have. What do you think? Really, let me know your thoughts about this article.

I was thinking about this on the way to the office this morning. The idea came to me – for the things that are GOOD for us…. what if, after people decided that they were in fact going to do the deed – what if they decide once – and never quit doing it. What if we determined to NOT let life get in the way of following through with commitments we made to others and commitments we made to ourselves? How different would the world be?

Life coaches would be an industry that would take a dive most likely. And Organization experts would be less busy and people would be continuing to do the things that they determined were good for them in the long run.

Motivational Speakers would also have much fewer crowds at their events…. If we never stop doing the good things we decided we wanted to do.

Ah but, that is NOT the world we live in is it? We forget…or we just stop…. or we just Quit.

So if doing the right things and following through with our commitments ARE so good for us… then WHY DO we quit.

I have a theory – I always have a theory lol – I think that sometimes we can achieve too much – or be too successful for our brains to keep up. What I mean is this. The body works so very hard to maintain a steady normal temperature of 98.6 degrees by causing perspiration and / or changes in internal blood flow. It has it “normal” set and a system that works to maintain that internal temperature.

We have an amazing “Gift” that sadly few of us take advantage of. We have the ability to “set” the “success temperature” so that doing the right things in our life are as easy as it is for our bodies to maintain the correct homeostatic temperature.

I believe that once we set high successful accomplishment levels as “Normal” in our minds – then our “quiting quotient” will be drastically reduced or eliminated completely.

“Successful people do the things that failures do not do.” It is as simple as that and all we have to do is change our “normal” settings to “super” inside our internal thermostat.

How do we do that? Sometimes, people just DECIDE and they mean it. Sometimes this is exactly why motivation speakers, organizational experts, and life coaches are absolutely worth whatever fee they ask. Because, they help you get results.

Quitters never win and winners never quit – words that were never truer.

Dr. Rob

This is not another article about THE secrets to weight loss. Not by a long shot. But I cannot say that you have not seen at least some of this information before. The secret – or the problem is… these “secrets” are rarely done all together – with consistency. So here is a “Secret” about getting it done “all” together.

I am going to share something with you that you may not like… the truth about weight loss… and here it is…. If you do not have a compelling reason why you want to loss weight then you WILL fail. Yep it is that simple. IF your “why ” to do this is not strong enough to be able to say “Yes” to all of the wonderful things that you have before you in your life with a thinner you and “no” to all of the foods, systems, and attitudes that make a fatter you…. then simply … you will not be successful at this weight loss attempt. Pretty sad huh… it comes back to what you are thinking. It always does.

But the good news is…. you can start your week over in the middle of the week – you do not have to wait until Monday – and you can start you day over on any one of the 24 hours in the day that you want – you do not have to wait until morning. So…. staring over now….

Make sure you find yourself the biggest “Why” you can and write it down – put it one your mirror – put it in your car – make a recording of “why” this is it for you because….. this is the point in your life that you are not going back. If you do not get this first step done… getting results will be extremely difficult.

Not surprisingly, this it the key to success in any area of major accomplishment. That is why businesses spend a tons of time on “Mission” statements. They HAVE to define their why too or it it too easy to lose your way in the world of “Did we make enough this week to pay everyone this week?” In my opinion, no one can survive and certainly can not flourish in life without a few major “Whys” in their life. So hey, this is not a new idea. You just have to do it. It has to be in writing and you have to be able to read it, hear it, and have it memorized and be able to tell yourself the “why” everyday. Telling others is definitely in second place to telling yourself. How many time have we heard someone announce to the world that THEY are going to lose weight – and we already know it will not happen. Yes, of course, I have done that too. There are reasons that this does not work.

The first reason is there is no real goal…. just a generic…. “I am going to lose weight”. Not exact amount. No exact time frame. and … no Why.

Part of your why has to include the exact amount of weight you want to lose and the date that you want to lose it by. And o course you have to have a SYSTEM to lose the weight. Now here is where MOST of the “secrets” to weight lose “weight ” in. This is where most articles have the meat of their secrets and their special formula. I am going to be stupid with you….and tell you … almost ALL diets work. Yes som eare better than others and some clearly use healthier methods than others. But MOST of them work. The problem is that we do not start with the right stuff between our ears before we start.

Now, If there is magic pixie dust that really pushes you over into the right thinking area it is this. ….. No I cannot explain that here…. there is too much to share about it….. so I will just tell you. and I will explain it in another post. You have to already act as if you are already the person you want to be and already the exact weight that you want to be. You have to say to your self everyday out loud and or to yourself. I am at my perfect weight of _____. then of course you fill in the amount you want to weight. The secret is you have to act as if you are already there. Something magical happened when you do that. You attract to you the people situations and events – and food that will PUT you at the weight. Honestly, it is that simple. I know, some of you think I am nuts – and some of you have already discovered that what I am saying is exactly what you are doing in the other successful area of your life. More on the “I am” concept a bit later.

Ok, in summary -

1. Have a why

2. Have an amount you want to weigh by a certain date.

3. Believe you already are the person that has already lost the weight.

And just so you do not feel cheated – here are the traditional “Secrets” to all diets

4. Whatever you weigh now – divide that in half and that is the minimum amount of water in ounces you should be drinking everyday. (200 pound man should drink at a minimum 100 ounces of water every day) And other fluids do not count. water – just water. And yes you might want to cut out some of the other fluids you are consuming throughout the day.

5. Eat smaller portions more frequently throughout the day. Think of a campfire. If you dump a huge log on the fire it could actually put the fire out or at the very least it will take a long time to burn and it will not put out very much heat. If you eat smaller more frequent meals – just like a campfire – you will have more heat and you will burn up much more wood. Our body’s metabolism is just like that. People the eat once or twice a day will say… “I cannot lose weight, my body just will not do it. I only eat two times a day.” Yes, and they are just not listening to this part of the article either. Is it really necessary that I mention cutting out fast foods, highly processed food, and junk foods. Yes – we need to eat REAL FOOD!

6. Get the proper amount of sleep everyday so that you can have the energy to exercise.

7. Ahh, yes – exercise – you have to do it. There are so many ways to exercise, I am not going to go into it. oh – everyday – yes everyday. If you have trouble s\deciding what to do – just take off ….walking get up to 1/2 hour to an hour a day – that will do it. play a game with yourself and see how far you can walk within different times. Sweat it!

8. And something interesting and possibly new to you. Do deep – very deep breathing several times throughout the day. Why? Oxygen. What do we do most of the time before a big event in our lives - yes – take a deep breath. It puts more oxygen into our body that is available to be used. And why does a hospital put oxygen on your almost right away when you get there? … to help your body function better so you have a better chance to get well. We need to do that for ourselves BEFORE we end up in the hospital. And besides, it does help in speeding up your metabolism – so you can lose weigh faster – cool huh?

9. Measure your progress with charts and graphs – yes – weigh yourself and measure yourself with measuring tape. This gives you more specific goals to shoot for. Do understand that depending on how much exercise you do – you could be building muscle which weighs more than fat – but muscle that is working burns more calories faster so you loose your fat faster. you cannot lose in gaining muscle. The Problem is most people do not understand this fact and they start to build muscle underneath their fat and they are not happy with the daily “weight”. Remember you are in this for the long haul and you might just be happier with a lean muscular body than just getting to a certain weight. Have a very strong “why” but realize that the farther we progress – we see things that we did not see when we started and – it is “OK” to change your goals.

10. Celebrate every victory you make in your journey to your perfect weight / body. Oh and what you celebrate is little things like how many times you ate the right things during the day and how many times you avoided the wrong things to eat. Or how many times you did all of the above things correctly. give your self a point for every good thing that you did and add up your points at the end of each week. Make your self a member of your own Silver, Gold, and Platinum Club at the end of each week – and – Celebrate your victories.

See you in Thin City!!

When the story unfolds, we find to some degree that it really was an inside job. Someone on the inside provided some information or left a door open – somebody on the inside KNEW something and shared it that was vitally important to getting the job done.

I have something massive to share with you…. ALL great accomplishments, achievements, successes were ALL inside jobs. Huh? Yep that is right …. They were FIRST conceived and Believed INSIDE the person’s mind First before they happened. There was planning, prayer, perseverance, preparation, persistence, and self inducted pressure BEFORE the actual event ever could or would come into existence.

I have found that there is very little that happens by accident that is good…. and if it does happen , “by accident”… unless you are prepared….you will surely lose that good thing. If fact, there is only one reward for success. Just one. And that reward is responsibility. If you do not have responsibility to maintain and keep up- the success you have achieved – you will surely lose it.

So if you are planning to do something great – it takes more that wishing and hoping with a great attitude. Action with a great attitude is truly a great start. But if you want to keep the success you have achieved – make sure is is a total and complete “Inside Job”.

After thirty years it is pretty impossible to NOT talk about Chiropractic care. When I began my practice back in 1980, I had many skeptical people come to see me for help. I always told them I preferred seeing skeptical people as they were so much easier to impress. But, in 1980, as today I have many more people that understand that the way to get the body well was to allow it to do what it was designed to do – which was ….get itself well. I have seen absolute miracles here in my practice that had to do with giving the body a little help in the right directions and getting out of the way of the healing process.

At this point on my thirty year practice anniversary year – I have to say that I get tons of referrals from all the surrounding medical doctors as they too are understanding that medication does not really fix everything. It is a great feeling to know that people are understanding that their own health is their responsibility. I help people to see what their next step is in their personal journey to optimum health and an optimum life.

I believe in the great “Lynch Pin” theory of life. You see, I believe that we all have a massive amount of potential to accomplish great and wonderful things that I believe we all came here to accomplish – and usually this is the next best step to take that is holding us back… and…if we pull the right “Lynch Pin” that action often time catapults us forward at a rapid pace.

I have been able to witness the miracle of Chiropractic care for thousands of people in my practice and have observed it to be exactly the “Lynch Pin” that was needed to be pulled for them to move forward in their health journey. (It is very difficult to exercise to lose weight when your back hurts like crazy)

Thirty years IS a long time – but I feel like I am just getting warmed up. If you wonder if Chiropractic may be able to help you – if you are close to me – by all means come in and see me. If you would like me to refer you to someone close to you – just let me know.

02-03-2012 Since the above original post- We have moved our practice into a section of my home. The new adress is 7119 Hetzler Road, Middletown, Ohio 45042. It has been absolutely wonderful and all of our patient love it. We have a location not even 10 minutes from Trenton, Ohio where I had been for over 30 years. It is a nice relaxing drive a little in the country and people tell me that fell more relaxed even just coming in the door of our new office. We are glad of that. I am seeing my family more and hey,I am using less gas too everyday!!!

Come see us for even better care that before as we have better software and systems to focus more on your needs and get to the root of your problems so that you can get well.
